A damaged 50 year old dining table, and a 60 year old coffee table (a somewhat faded family heirloom made by a master carpenter), collected promptly and returned 10 days later, both as good as new. It was a pleasure to deal with such a craftsman.
John restored a 50+ yr old mahogany dining table for us and made a new matching center leaf for it including supporting under arms and new connecting brass pins as well. Table picked up and dropped off and fantastic end result. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
John did a superb job of restoring six old dining room chairs – better than we expected and very good value. He was prompt and efficient, and is a skilled craftsman – a joy to do business with.
Very happy with result. Good service and furniture looks healthy and is very sturdy after the work. Personal quibble; perhaps furniture could have done with a air hose to start with, to remove dust and cobwebs from those hard to reach (rarely seen places). E.g. under table.
All in all very happy and think the price represented good value for results (included a visit to assess/quote and collection and drop off of the furniture).

Having bought a large wooden pine bed which needed restoring I was lucky enough to find Jon who has made the most amazing job of making it look quite special. I know it was a lot of hard work stripping the old varnish off by hand and he was probably glad to see the back of it but I am really pleased with the result.
